Leadership Opportunities

Are you interested in trying something new? We're always looking for innovative and motivated leaders to take on new roles in Scouting. Below are the roles that we're currently seeking applicants for, along with the date on which applications will close where applicable.

Please note that many of these position descriptions are generic. As such, the locations where we're currently seeking applicants are listed underneath the role.

If you're interested in a role, but are uncertain about aspects of it, feel free to email Jan and organise to have a chat about it. This especially applies to younger applicants, as we do welcome applicants from the age of 18 for all of the roles listed below.

We're always seeking new Section and Group Leaders, and so we don't advertise them here. If you're looking for somewhere new or to move into a different role within a Group, either speak to your Group Leader directly or get in touch with Jan Kerr, as above.

Confused about the position titles? Some of the titles changed in early 2014 to reflect the new structure of Scouts Victoria. Commissioners for sections are no longer Assistants, as they now report to Section Commissioners rather than their District/ Region commissioner.
