First Foster cubs enjoyed a fantastic afternoon on the Foster Beach mud flats in March.
In Autumn sunshine, led by Jonathon Stevenson, the pack explored life at low tide.
Before heading out on to the mud Jono asked the cubs to use a word to describe what they saw ahead, cubs said - puddly, muddy, wet, water, spodgy etc.
After exploring, dip netting and discovering life amongst the mud and seas grass the cubs described the area as awesome, alive and amazing.
The wonders of Corner Inlet were shared as the cubs learnt about the many local & migrating birds that use the inlet, life in the mud as well as life underwater.
Crabs, jelly fish, snails, shrimps, fish and egg sacks were amongst some of the discoveries.
Cubs is for boys and girls aged 8-10.
