All Scouting members and their families are invited to come to Gilwell Park this Sunday, 22nd September, from 12 noon to 3pm, and experience all that Gilwell has on offer. The flying fox, high ropes challenge course, low ropes challenge course, abseiling tower, bouldering wall, geocaching, bushwalks and the Environment Centre will all be open and running throughout the afternoon.

Please book here for the high ropes course
. This is essential, it is very popular - you'll know why when you see it!

Members will also be able to try out their skills at Geocaching with special caches set up for the day around Gilwell.  This event will be based from the Environment Centre (so have a look around that as well). GPS's and training will be available for those who want to try it for the first time (or if you need some pointers).
Adult Recognition Awards Ceremony

We’ll also celebrating the recent Adult Recognition Awards and honoring recipients with a special presentation.  This starts at 9:30am. It’s a great way of showing your support for these fantastic people and thanking them for all that they do in Scouting.

There is a free Sausage Sizzle and plenty of  picnic areas available for families to enjoy the day.  See if you can find Max, the Scout Mascot, as well. He will be taking part in all the activities with you!
