Planetarium Evenings

A new and exciting Planetarium event, specifically designed for Cub Scouts to complete their Level one Space Badge, is now offered at the Melbourne Planetarium.
Cub Scouts and their leaders will enjoy a Planetarium show followed by a presentation of “What's in the sky tonight?” <museumvictoria.com.au/planetarium/whatson/whats-in-the-sky-tonight/
The presentation will include a guide through Melbourne's night sky and information about any new discoveries about our universe. Also included is how to find the Southern Cross and the best direction to observe visible planets and the International Space Station.
Each Cub Scout will receive a show bag with resources and activities to assist with completing their badge. There will also be an opportunity to view planets and stars in the night sky through telescopes on the Scienceworks arena after the Planetarium show if the weather permits.
